hide it

u know, i just saw an instagram post from a celebrity where she was showing herself being real, like.. showing her hairy armpits or her real non-flat stomach and ive been thinking about how much are those posts helping. are they helping? im sure they have the best intentions, and maybe they really want society to think about the beauty standards were pursuing, what we think is beautiful or hot or whatever. i know they want to show us a lot of that is not even real and were praising fake beauty, but i genuinely think thats what some people want to see. there are lots of people that just hate pictures showing normal bodies, they just dont want to see it, their mindset is something like: just hide that, is ugly, show me perfection, show me beauty, can i reach it? no? is it fake? idgaf. i wanna see that beauty, it comforts my eyes, not like a fat stomach or a couple hairy legs or even a girl with unshaved eyebrows.
they want to see the unreal because the real is themselves and its not always pretty and perfect. so i celebrate when some influencer talks about being real, and shows what reality looks like, but im not sure the majority of people is interested in it.
